ZA-PAS Expendable, Cerakote Blade & Orange G10 Handle

The "Expendable" survival knife from Za-Pas is the larger version of the Ultra Outdoor model. It’s a knife built for the outdoors and makes light work of the cutting tasks thrown its way – perfect for hiking, camping, survival and bushcraft enthusiasts. It can be used for trimming branches, cutting ropes or other materials, peeling and cutting food, and performing precision work. It features a full tang carbon steel NMV construction blade. The 6.42" blade is hardened at 58-59 HRC, offering a good compromise between toughness and sharpness. The blade is finished with CERAKOTE ceramic paint, this treatment gives the knife a sleek appearance but also cuts off the oxygen supply to the steel – at the same time making it resistant to weather conditions. The handle is made from orange G10, which is then shaped and sandblasted for optimal grip, even in wet conditions. G10 is a popular material favoured for its resistance to impact, water and warping, as well as being comfortable in the hand. The knife comes with a kydex sheath with nylon belt loop for safe transportation on a belt or equipment.
