Za-Pas present the Expendable Toxic, an alternative version of the Za-Pas Expendable model which features heavy texturing on the handle for an improved grip. The 6.42" blade is hardened at 58-59 HRC which offers both high impact resistance and edge retention. The blade is finished with a protective Cerakote coating – a high-performing, durable polymer-ceramic composite. This cuts off the oxygen supply to the steel, increasing corrosion and weather resistance. Jimping along the spine of the blade provides extra grip, control and safety. The grooved handle is constructed from G10, a popular knife making material favoured for its resistance to impact, water and warping, as well as being comfortable in the hand. The Expendable Toxic is supplied with a Kydex sheath with nylon belt loop for safe transportation on a belt or backpack.
