The Kizer Vanguard Drop Bear is a practical and affordable pocket knife for daily use. You immediately notice the locking mechanism. The Drop Bear is namely enhanced with, what Kizer calls, a ‘Clutch Lock’. This is their version of an Axis lock. As such the knife is perfect for both left and right-handed use. You open the Drop Bear with the thumb studs. It opens easily and when opened the blade is kept in place by a clutch lock. The steel liners in between the aluminium handles add solidity to the frame. Which means you can always rely on your knife, even for the more demanding tasks.
